Thanksgiving - Turkey and Food Distribution: A Community Partnership in Action

On November 18, our community came together for a meaningful event that showcased the power of collaboration and giving. In partnership with the Tajik American Association and the office of Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, we hosted a Turkey and Food Distribution to support families in need during this season of gratitude.

The event was held at and brought together people from diverse backgrounds, united by the spirit of generosity. Volunteers worked tirelessly to organize and distribute a variety of food items, including fresh turkeys, ensuring that every family could celebrate with a warm and hearty meal.

Councilwoman Vernikov’s office provided invaluable support in reaching out to community members.. Together, we distributed around 100 Kosher and Halal turkeys and Halal Hot Meals, touching the lives of countless individuals.

This event not only addressed a critical need but also reinforced the importance of community solidarity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success. As we move forward, we remain committed to fostering a stronger, more supportive community.
