Iftar with Ukrainian Refugee Families: A Night of Unity, Gratitude, and Friendship

On the evening of March 19, 2025, we had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt Iftar with Ukrainian refugee families in Brooklyn. As the sun set and the fast was broken, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, compassion, and a deep sense of community.

Everyone gathered with gratitude—grateful for the delicious meals, for the company of kind-hearted people, and for the chance to share in a meaningful tradition. The food was both comforting and delicious, prepared with love by volunteers who made sure no one felt like a stranger.

More than just a meal, the evening became a moment of connection. New friendships were formed as stories were exchanged, smiles shared, and laughter echoed throughout the room. It was a beautiful reminder that even in the face of hardship, humanity shines through when people come together with open hearts.

We are truly happy and humbled to have had the opportunity to support and connect with the Ukrainian community here in Brooklyn. This Iftar was more than just a dinner—it was a celebration of unity, hope, and the power of compassion.
