On the evening of March 17, something truly beautiful happened. We gathered with our neighbors from the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church for a shared Iftar and Lenten Dinner — a night rooted in faith, compassion, and community.
It wasn’t just about the food (although the dishes were delicious!). It was about the spirit of togetherness. As Muslims were breaking their fast and our Christian friends were observing Lent, we all came together — different backgrounds, shared values.
The atmosphere was full of warmth. Conversations flowed, stories were exchanged, and friendships began to take root. We shared bread — a simple act that carried deep meaning — reminding us of our shared humanity and the power of hospitality.
Events like this are a testament to what’s possible when we open our doors and our hearts to one another. In a world that often focuses on what divides us, this evening was a powerful reminder of what unites us.
We’re so grateful to the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church for their partnership, and to everyone who joined us for making it a night to remember. May it be the first of many more.
Here’s to friendship, faith, and community.
