Empowering Students: Back-to-School Events with Councilwoman Mercedes Narcisse

At Turkic Foundation of Brooklyn, we believe that education is the cornerstone of a strong community, and we're committed to ensuring our students start the academic year on the right foot. This year, in collaboration with Embrace Relief and Councilwoman Mercedes Narcisse, we hosted two remarkable back-to-school events aimed at supporting our students and families.

Through these initiatives, we successfully donated over 100 bags filled with essential school supplies to students in need. Our goal was to alleviate the financial burden for families while giving students the tools they need to thrive academically. Councilwoman Narcisse’s dedication to the community and education was a driving force behind the success of these events.

It was inspiring to witness the joy and excitement on the faces of students as they received their supplies, ready to embark on a new school year with confidence. Together, we are not just providing resources; we are investing in the future of our community.
