Turkish Music Concert at Chappaqua Library

Turkish Cultural Center Westchester and Chappaqua Library organized a joint music concert on Sunday, April 26th at the library. Scott Wilson and his ensemble performed beautiful songs from various parts of Turkey

The lively folk and traditional music featured the ethereal sounding Ney (mystical reed flute), Oud/Ud (the short neck lute), Baglama (seven-stringed long neck lute), Def (large frame drum associated with Sufi rituals)

Everyone in attendance loved the event and enjoyed very much.
