What?

It is essential to raise awareness of the urgency of the global climate change issue which may affect all of our lives and next generations. Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities.

Peggy Kurtz is the Director of Cultural Arts & Jewish Heritage Programs at Commonpoint Queens formerly known as the Central Queens Y. She is also serving as the Greening Coordinator. She is environmental advocate and an award winning leader in community. Mrs. Peggy Kurtz is the leader of Rockland Sierra Club and an appointed member of the Rockland County Water Task Force
