Ebru Art Workshop

On November 7, 2015, Turkish Cultural Center Queens held its second session of Ebru Art with Instructor Mr. Mustafa Yasar for the fall semester. This time, in order to experience a new atmosphere and help attendees to better engage with the instructor, our session took place in our cultural center’s library.

Attendees mentioned that it was their first time seeing such an amazing art and mentioned that they look forward to trying it when they were hearing the history of the art. Attendees asked questions, mostly about the materials of the art. Instructor Mustafa Yasar specifically mentioned how those utilities are being made and began to produce in Turkey. Then, attendees began to perform the art and tried to make different shapes by using their imaginations. We look forward to see more art lovers in our next session, which will be held on November 28, 2015.
